1910 Law Harvard Law Review : Uniform Marriage Law

This is a very revealing treatise on the intent of the Government to make laws on Marriages. One of the first things suggested in the proposed laws here was to do away with Common Law Marriages. I am not talking about the misconception of the “shack up” for so long thing, but the real marriages performed lawfully and under the will of God. If you want to study about just when the Government thought it was suppose to enter into the marriage field this will be a great help. A lot can be learned here.
