1891 Principles Of Constitutional Law, By Thomas Cooley

$15.00

What I have here is another fine Study into Constitutional Law. I have photo copied each page of this 1891 edition of Cooley’s Principles of Constitutional Law. Thomas Cooley is one of the most famous Constitutional annotator on the subject. Some have ranked him along side of Coke and Kent. This CD will have a complete course on all the subjects of the constitution. The Second Amendment is still taught in the same concept of all the previous writers. You may notice my other books are mainly on this very subject (constitutionalism), and it is very clear that the second Amendment had two main reasons that all writers were in harmony on, and that was that the two reasons was to keep the citizens armed for two main reason, 1, to protect themselves from the United States government first, then be able to be a protector from invasion. It was also taught that it was meant to prevent the government from having a standing army because there would be no need of a military to be standing during peace times if all the citizens were armed. You should check my other books because they say the same thing, and it proves the real intent of that amendment throughout the 1800's. Not only is the second Amendment well discussed but all your major issues that are so contended about these days with an entire different teaching on these issues. Cooley even teaches that there can be no regulation on the bearing of arms except those suited for "deadly individual encounters" In other words some one toting one just for encountering. Cooley also mentions the right to protect yourself against those that hide their weapon for that such purpose, so be armed. Even Jesus said " When a strong man armed keepth his palace, his goods are in peace." This same greatest Teacher of all times also stressed the point that if you don’t have a sword then you should even sell your garments to have one because you will be needing self protection. He did not teach to let the government be the primary protection. The idea behind all the past teachers verses the modern ones is that the Past teachers stressed the power in the people. The modern teachers wants only the police powers to hold the guns. The question then is which teachers are right, not when did they teach it. I would go with the side Jesus Christ took myself.
