1896 The Battle Of the Standards, Money Book

$15.00

This is a very good book on the subject of Silver being the Standard for money of the United States. It was published in 1896 by James Teller. If you want to really know about money and what it is and what should be the standard for public use then this Author in this book has a very sound argument that basis its conclusions on historical truths. He proves that silver remained stable even when gold failed to stand. His arguments cover all the debating ideas of the time when the Us demonetized silver (I think in 1878, not sure). This book will educate you on the money issue that many patriots argue today against paper money. You will have a keen understanding of what is "dollar value" and you will have the knowledge of just why real metal such as silver and gold should be the only real money issued. Don’t just state your discontent for the present Federal Reserve notes, Read and understand why you have such grievous feelings for the paper frauds. This book is very helpful in completing conclusions that you may have about silver and gold. This author favors silver over Gold and shows why silver should be the only standard and not even have a bimetal standard. Most economist will favor the Gold and silver to be the two standing standards in concurrence with each other, while that may still be a very good standard this author shows the flaws (minor as they are) in them working together.
